Gholamabbas Kharmand, in an interview with IRNA on Thursday, added: In this climb, which was held on the occasion of the auspicious birth of the Prophet of Mercy (PBUH), 15 athletes ascended to the 3300-meter peak of Chahar Shakh.
He added: Since the beginning of this year, more than 15 ascents to the heights have been carried out by the Public Sports Board of Borujerd County, and the presence of female mountaineers in this field is also noteworthy.
He stated: Yal Kaboud peak of Nahavand, Pariz of Dorud, Shah Neshin of Khorramabad, Shahbaz of Shazand, Gharun of Dorud, Kul Jenu of Azna, and the ice cave of Hamedan, are among the high peaks that Borujerd athletes have successfully climbed this year.
Kharmand added: In addition to climbing to the heights, tourism programs and visits to caves and seasonal lakes in the heights are carried out by athletes, including visits to Haji Abad cave, Vanai cave, Tang Khersak, and the waterfalls of Lorestan province.
