Visit of the Vice-Chancellor for Support of Lorestan University to the Final Stages of Preparation of the Central Site's Permanent Emergency Base

Dr. Mohsen Abbasi, the Deputy of Support of Lorestan University, on Wednesday, October 8th, by conducting a field visit to the final stages of preparing the permanent emergency base at the central university site, emphasized the importance of upgrading health and treatment services in university complexes, especially student dormitories.

According to the Public Relations of Lorestan University, Dr. Abbasi, during his visit to the location of the emergency base in the guesthouse building of the central site, stated: "Reaching the final stages of establishing this emergency base is the result of the continuous and persistent follow-ups of the esteemed President of the University, Mr. Dr. Dadastani; with his support, this long-standing demand of the university community, especially students, is undergoing its final stages to reach inauguration."

Dr. Abbasi noted: "This base, which will operate 24 hours a day under the direct supervision of the Lorestan Provincial Medical Sciences University, will be ready to provide emergency medical services to the large family of Lorestan University, under the management of Mr. Farzan Farshidpour."

The Deputy of Support of Lorestan University clarified: "Currently, according to the statistics of the Student Affairs Management, nearly 1400 female students reside in the dormitory complex of the central site; for this reason, the existence of a permanent emergency base operating 24 hours a day is considered an important step towards increasing student satisfaction."

He added: "In the future, in addition to providing services to the university community and the dormitory complex of the central site, this base will also provide emergency medical services to the residents of Kooy Masken Mehr and the areas adjacent to the university."

It is worth mentioning that the establishment of a permanent emergency base at the central site has always been among the demands and requests of students and the Student Affairs Vice-Presidency of the university, and we are now witnessing its final operational stages.
