Appointment of Dr. Hassan Nayebzadeh as Acting Vice-President for Support and Development of Lorestan University / Appreciation of Dr. Mohammad Jafari

By decree of Dr. Khosro Azizi, President of Lorestan University, Dr. Hassan Nayebzadeh has been appointed as the new head of the Vice-Presidency for Support and Development of Lorestan University, and Dr. Mohammad Jafari, the former Vice-President, was honored.
The inauguration and appreciation ceremony was held on Tuesday, September 24th, with the presence of Dr. Khosro Azizi, President of Lorestan University, university vice-presidents, Hojjat al-Islam and al-Muslimin Dr. Habib Hatami Kan Kaboud, Head of the Representative Office of the Supreme Leader in the universities of the province and Lorestan University, and university managers in the Shahid Mirbaharsi Hall of Lorestan University.
Dr. Khosro Azizi, President of Lorestan University, during the ceremony, while congratulating the Sacred Defense Week and commemorating the memory of the esteemed martyrs, said: "The successes that have been achieved for Lorestan University so far are due to the cooperation, coordination, and brotherly spirit among the members of the Lorestan University family, especially the management team and all managers, faculty members, and university staff."
Dr. Azizi added: "Mr. Dr. Jafari has years of work experience in financial and administrative affairs and is considered a skilled manager in his field of work, and I hope that he will succeed in performing his duties in his new position in Tehran {Deputy Director of Management Development of the Medical Supply Organization of the Iranian Red Crescent Society}."
The President of Lorestan University explained: "Fortunately, since 2014, when I was appointed as the servant of the university community in the position of university management of Lorestan University, good infrastructure has been built in various work and performance sectors; for example: 40,000 square meters of construction has been done at Lorestan University, which is due to the spirit of empathy, cooperation, convergence, and brotherhood among the management team of Lorestan University."
He explained: "Various successes have been achieved for Lorestan University; including that in the ranking of the Islamic World Science Citation Database, the rank of Lorestan University has improved by 10 places, or in the prestigious international Times ranking, for the first time, the name of Lorestan University has been included in the list of this ranking; also, from a total of more than 250 laboratories belonging to university, scientific, research, and research centers of the country, Lorestan University has been able to achieve the 21st rank nationwide, all of which are among some of the important successes of Lorestan University in recent years."
Dr. Khosro Azizi stated: "Mr. Dr. Nayebzadeh, who has been serving in the position of Director of Graduate Studies of Lorestan University, is among the forces whose planning, follow-up, and actions have brought about a transformation in the graduate studies department of Lorestan University, especially strengthening the concept of e-government in this department, and I hope that in the new position, they will be able to succeed in performing their duties."
It is worth mentioning that in this ceremony, a plaque of appreciation was presented to honor the efforts of Dr. Mohammad Jafari, a faculty member of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of Lorestan University and the former Vice-President for Support and Development of Lorestan University, and Dr. Nayebzadeh's decree was also communicated to him.
